Justin Robert Helms, 29, passed away suddenly Friday, July 15, 2016 in North Carolina. He was a born on December 18, 1986 to Clayton L. Helms and Jodee E. McMillen.

Justin graduated Valedictorian from WT Sampson High School, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in 2005. In 2011 he graduated from Virginia Tech with degrees in Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering Management. He was currently employed as a project manager for GET Solutions in Elizabeth City, NC.

Justin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Coy Robert Helms.

Left to cherish Justin’s memories, are his, mother, Jodee E. McMillen and husband Clayton E. McMillen; father Clayton L. Helms and wife Earlene S. Helms; five sisters, Amanda G. McMillen of Moyock, NC, April R. Helms of Blacksburg, VA, Alice R. Helms of Christiansburg, VA, Crissie W. Snyder of Carrollton, VA, Carla W. Pavon of Carrollton, VA; two brothers Nicholas E. McMillen of Syracuse, NY, Ashley(Leroy) Whitehead of Portsmouth, VA; grandparents, Evona B. Helms , Sally G. Stalls, Gerald W. Stalls; and great-grandmother, Lula B Harris.
