In Memory

Sarah Bright - Class Of 1996

Sarah Victoria Bright was born in Tampa, FL and attended school in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; Dunoon, Scotland; and in 1996 graduated Ft. Dorchester High School, Charleston, SC where she excelled in debate and creative writing. Sarah's favorite past time was to write poetry. It was a creative outlet to which she express her views on politics, life, and love. Some of her work as been published. The world has now lost one of it's greatest minds. On June 30th, 2007 she had a grand mal seizure that claimed her life. She is survived by her parents, Karen and Bill, her sister, Caitlin, and lots of aunts, uncles, cousins. She was loved by many and we live forever in the memories and the words that she left behind.

She loved to do so many things. Her favorite music was ranged anywhere from The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, U2, Led Zepplin, and Dave Matthews Band. She loved reading and you can bet she was always within five feet of a book. Some of her all time favorites were The Celestine Prophecy, The Prophet, and anything by Anne Rice. She had other hobbies that included photography, debating anyone with an opinion (even if it wasn't something she particularly believed), and anything else that would allow her to use all of her creative talent.
