ANDERSON II, GENE RICHARD, 53, Wildwood - Gene Richard Anderson, II (Richard) passed away November 24, 2006, at The Villages Regional Medical Center, Lady Lake, FL. Richard was born in Oakland, CA, August 5, 1953. He was preceded in death by Marie Anderson, his sister. He is survived by his son Jason and wife Tamara, granddaughter De-jane, grandson Jason, Jr., parents, Gene and Janet Anderson and sister, Jeanette Mueller, her husband Larry and their three children, BJ, Steffie and Kyle. Richard lived much of his younger life in Florida as a result of his Dad's Navy tours of duty and spent 2 years in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba where he graduated from highschool. He lived 14 years in Arkansas and moved back to FL in 1996. In the past 2 years his failing health required him to reside at Arbor Village nursing home in Wildwood. His past work history was very diverse working at Tyson Chicken, Best Western Hotel Chain, Disney World and also working in construction industry. A memorial service will be held December 2, 2006 at 4 p.m. at the Belleview Lions Club, 5850 SE Lillian Circle, Belleview, FL. The family would like any memorial contributions to be made to Hospice of Lake and Sumter County, 12300 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.
