Graduated from FSU,1966 in History, MA 1968 in Art History.Taught at University of Wisconsin Whitewater 1968-1984. Ph.D. Medieval Art History from Univ. Wisconsin-Madison 1974. Taught in Denmark and U.K. Moved to Buffalo, NY to S.U.N.Y College at Buffalo to set up Design history program. Developed Center for Watercraft Studies - Now Buffalo Maritime Center. Officially retired 2006 but continue with Maritime Center, designing and writing. Rebecca teaches Spanish at the Nichols School and runs foreign exchanges ( Costa Rica, Spain, France) Both Julian and Alexandra are married. Julian a graphic designer/artist based in Buffalo. Alexandra a linguist living in Netherlands and Sweden with Swedish husband and two children. When we're not traveling we're sailing. I'm often back in St. Petersburg to see my 96+ parents who are still doing well.
