A Jerry, I remember you well at Harding. You were the closet student to the elementary and Junior High School haha. Was great fun to play basketball with you at the courts just across from your house. I was so sad to hear about your death, I believe Rick Pumnea told me. Riding bicycles all over. I had a 3 speed Raleigh bike and you had a 20 inch no gear bike and would always beat me in races lol. You were an unbelievable blessed athlete, I know you would have done well in track, basketball, football or anything you set your mind to do. You taught me that mamny times just playing me on the bike haha. Rest in Peace my friend Jerry, I'm sure you are smiling in Heaven, as you always did on Earth.

I remember Rich as a fellow classmate at Harding for grades 5th-8th. Always had good times with Rich, riding our bikes to Hessville Pool, playing fast pitch rubber ball home run derby against the brick building next to Harding which contained the heating furnace, I can't recall what it was called. We sometimes would go to his basement where his Father had a nice bar set up lol. Rick Pumnea and Ken Fisher would be with us. Since I moved to East Chicago after 8th grade we lost track of each other and now I find he has passed. I wish I had been able to stay in Hessville and go onto Morton with some friends from Harding. I have other memories of good times with Richard but wouldn't interest others I'm sure. Past times with good memories. Be at Peace Rich.
