John W. Fisher - age 18, of Hessville, IN, passed away Monday, December 5, 1988. Survivors: mother and father, Linda and Fred Chalifoux of Hessville; four brothers, Richard and Chris Fisher, Greg and Fred Chalifoux III;  three sisters, Jennifer, Nicole and Heather Chalifoux - all at home; maternal grandparents, Lawrence Boardman of Highland, IN, and Betty (Glen) Sympson of  Valrico, Florida; great-grandmother, Exa Wagner of Amarillo, Texas; step-grandparents, Fred (Julia) Chalifoux of Hammond, IN, and Ernie Sprouls of Demotte, IN; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  Funeral services will be held Friday, December 9, 1988 at 1 p.m. at the Virgil Huber Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John B. Luttmann officiating.  Burial at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, IN.  Friends may call Thursday 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the Virgil Huber Funeral Home, 7051 Kennedy Ave., Hessville, IN.  John was a lifelong Hammond area resident; a senior at Morton Sr. High School; active in Hessville Little League and formerly employed at Venture Department Store.
