Oh yeah one more thing for now. A lot of you have expressed what to wear. This is casual. We want everyone to be comfortable and have a great time. I know a lot of us are wearing capris. I dont know if this helps you with your decision as to what to wear or not. We didnt want everyone to feel they had to dress up. Casual attire. Thanks

Hey Don instead of writing tickets, if we bring you donuts, can you get us out of some. :)

Capris make my ass look HUGE. What other suggestions do you have to wear?

OMG Gary I have the same problem!

So I will get to see my cousin Rose at the reunion I can't wait!

Patty, Mindy, Tammy and Cheryl you are all doing a fantastic job at bringing this all together, thank you very much for all of your time, effort, and hard work that you have contributed.

I think we should invite Miss. Magee...

As far as what to wear...

I will be wearing a toga!!!

Ann you are too funny. We had fun doing it. It gave us more reasons to hang out and act crazy.

Ann, I am still in Hamtramck working as a teacher and Mrs. Magee retired a few years ago at the same time as Mr. Stasik and Mr. Segal. That was a GREAT retirement for the three of them. I got to see a side of our teachers not many get to see! Everyone that worked with Mrs. Magee used to always joke with her about the size of her chest. That, or should I say, THOSE, were the basis her farewell slideshow was based on at the retirement. She was as great and fun of a coworkers as she was a teacher to the students! Mr. Stasik and Mr. Segal were known to give some great houseparties, from what I have been told. Let's just say, when I became a teacher and went to the afterwork parties, I got to see a side of our teachers I had no idea existed. Mr. Corey asked to buy me a drink when I first employed....LOL That was great!

Patty, will you keep this site going even after the reunion? I would love to see some pics posted on here after the reunion. I can't be there in person, but will have you guys on my mind that day. Let me know of other get togethers. I would love to try and make it to one.

Yes I will continue this site until the day I die. I just pay the domain charge yearly which is much cheaper then all of us paying classmates.

Ann Duszczyk (Drewek)

Well Patty I would be happy to donate to the cause. As long as you are willing to all the technical stuff. LOL. It is sad to say, I still have trouble texting (so sad that I am not sure if that is even how to spell it).

I have no problem keeping it up. It is only 19.00 a year so the cost is no problem. I like it here so that everyone can talk here and send someone a message and not have to pay a yearly fee. 36.00 a year thru classmates per person compared to 19.00 for 1 person for everyone is a no brainer.

Remember Anita still has baseball tickets for August 10th left. I think she said she had 15 left so if you are interested please let her know.

Ann, I know how you feel about the text. Although I know how, my daughter thinks I am slow at it. lol

I just wanted to say thanks Patty for the great job for setting this up. I think it would be great to keep the site going. It's nice reading how everyone is doing and the pics are great also. Cant wait to see everyone again.
And Gary I want to know did Mark help you shop for the capris? LOL.

Thanks Michelle! I enjoyed doing it. This site is wonderful and I love how everyone is out here communicating with everyone and catching up on old times.

Oh by the way Michelle, Mark said he is wearing chapps. LOL

Just wondering, how many of us are doing what we wanted to do after high school? For example I wanted to be a Lawyer and here I am a Preschool teacher. I love it dearly and would not change it for the world. Funny seeing what happens in the school after the kids leave for 2 years worked out of the Hamtramck high had a key to the elevator which at the time was very cool. LOL. Thought teachers would be doing something but most if not all just booked up out as soon as they could.

Rob can you ask your mom for pine cones. She gave a lot to the school a couple of years ago and we could use more in the fall. Thanks.

That is just wrong that you now what stirr up are and that fact that you and Mark are shopping for them together:) And, HA HA Mark. No, Patty. Mark forgot to tell you he ask to use them when him and Gary went out the last time. LOL. I sure dont want them back :)

Patty Mashike

LOL too funny Michelle. I have to keepan eye on those two.

Mary are you going to be able to make it to the reunion?
I know I was unsure what I wanted to do. I never really made a plan for anything. Now I work for Blue Cross for the last 11 years and will retire from there unless they get rid of me. Larnell Mills was the only prediction tht was correct.

Hey,

I had it in my mind I was moving to Chicago to be a news paper reporter if you can believe that. I've been to Chicago about 4 or 5 times now and I still think about that. But here I am in Michigan, for 13 years I was in customer service for accounts like GM and Chrysler but I was tired of getting yelled at so now I'm in Purchasing
and it's waaaayyyyy better. I get paid to shop, my favorite past time (ha ha). I only wish it was for something a little better then tooling. Oh to be a buyer at Macy's or any other high end store, that's what I'm shooting for. Anyway thanks for all the praise for this reunion but we could not have done it without a good response from all of you so THANK YOU, for taking the time and money to show up. We know the economy has not made it easy. Only 26 more days people!!!!

06/30/08 12:24 PM #229

Patty Mashike

My thing it that we are all still young enough to do whatever we want it is just a matter of whether we want to start all over again somewhere else. Yes 26 more days. I cant wait. We have a total of 63 people paid so far so it will be a great turn out. I did hit some people up with emails that were expressing coming but havent sent in payment yet to see if they had planned on coming still. The more the merrier. I cant wait to see everyone.

Hey in Sandra's profile she wrote:

"Hey, in your profile you wrote "Children:Hell NO.....maybe but think i am to old...HAHAHAH never to old."

See, I think I'm too freaking young to have kids, I'm still a kid, and that last thing I want is to have to change diapers for the rest of my days. (smiling)

Seriously, how on Earth is it possible that so many of you people have children?! For the most part, no one in our graduating class should be older than say... 38 or so, right? Ehhh.... maybe it's just that you people are living in America (smiling).

Hey Ken,

I don't know but my daughter will be 15 in a few months and I'm so glad I had her when I was younger, now she's babysitting everyone else's kids. When she graduates I'll just be into my 40's and still be able to enjoy some grandchildren when she's settled down. As for still being a kid, trust me they keep you young. Besides chasing them around everywhere if you don't keep current they make fun of you (ha ha).
