Suzana Todosov (Bosnjakovski)

I have always wanted to become a teacher. I never thought I would stay in Hamtramck as a teacher, but, in some odd way, I am glad I did stay. I have seen many children come through my doors whose parents are HHS grads and a few children of classmates. Along with teaching, I have had a chance to do some things I was pushed into doing because of having the skill to do those things. I do face painting and balloon sculpting as a side job. It's fun and I love the look on kids' faces! I did face painting at my cousin's kid's party and some moms asked me to paint their faces. It is fun. I have also been snorkeling and decided to go for a scuba certification last year. That was fun! The best was when I put on my scuba gear, wetsuit and all, and walked into my daughters' rooms after one of my classes. After they screamed, they realized it was me and laughed!!! LMAO

Mindy, kids do keep us young. You are as old as you feel and if you are always living your life as if today is your last, you won't have many regrets and feel wonderful! I love my girls and they brighten every day for me. Each day, they give me reason to smile and look forward to many more new experiences with them. If I try to look back at how life was without them, it is really hard to remember. I can recall some fun times I had, but the great times were with them in my life. They do frustrate me at times, but so did we when we were younger to our parents.

Don - If I could still write excuses, trust me, I would. Boy, life should be that simple now. I'd NEVER be at work!

You guys are hysterical. I just go on here and read for entertainment purposes. I just checked out Ann's pic's today also. The first few are very nice (cute daughter!), the rest are just funny.

Kim - I told you about the eye patch. It came out again in Ann's pics...

I do still have Tiger's tix for 8/10. Let me know in advance or at the reunion.

Yeah I agree. I dont know what I would do without my daughter. One would only know how much trouble I would have gotten into without her in my life. As you get older, it is more of a risk for a woman to have kids. You dontwant to have kids too late where you cant enjoy them or the grandchildren eventually.

Yes Anita Iagree. Ilove coming out here to read everything. You never know what is next to be said.

In responce to Marys post about where we thought we would be or what we thought we would do...

Well I just knew I would have a career in the army as an MP and I would join with Don do my 20 years and live the good life after that as a police officer...

Here I sit a stay at home mom, Who would have thought. I could not see my self as a mother at any point, then something happened when I turned 30, (biological clock insert eye roll here) who knows it just happened. You women who decided to have children young were very wise if you ask me, for many reasons. One because your knees work much better in your twenty's then in your late thirty's getting up and down off the floor, play areas, monkey bars, etc...

As far as not wanting to grow up, I never want to!!! One of the best parts of having my girl has been being a kid with her.

I think when you stop being silly and become too serious you are no longer living you are existing. Children bring so much light and joy into our lives no matter who they are nieces, nephews, children of friends, or your own.

Some of the greatest lessons I have learned in my life have been from my little girl.

Hi Don! How are you? Did you take the Sargent's test? Doug was asking about that the other day when we were discussing the reunion. We are good, just enjoying the summer and looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. I hope you are good too. Did you ever end up buying any of the houses you were looking at?

Hey All,

Can't wait to see everyone on the 26th (sounds like a good turnout is planned). It's such a pleasure(and laugh at times)to read all the recollections of our past and what the future has brought to all of us. My children (or young men I might reference them as) are finding pleasantry and chuckles at some of the ole' pix that have appeared on this site (way to go Patty)!!! See you all soon.

Rob, Thank you (pine cones)

How goes life? Tell your mom chuck & Lisa had a baby girl- Faith, not sure if she knows.

I am really excited about seeing everyone. It has been a long time and seeing how everyone has grown, changed, friendships still the same and how blessed everyones life has turned out. Who could ask for more than that. To me next to high school graduation this will be another book mark in history of the Class of 1988 where we set it out. Until then.

Oh yeah, I was looking on the In Memory who found Angela Norris and where in the heck is she?

Mindy Tofil (Young)

Hey Alicia,

We found her in Warren via Anita Barrios. Charlie (I don't know his last name) knew were she was. He's going to stop and visit her to let her know what's going. There was a bad rumor going around we had to clear up with her. So thank God she's okay and hopefully we'll get to see her.

Ann Duszczyk (Drewek)

I am so glad to hear it was just a bad rumor about Angela Norris. She was always such a joy to be around in school I have so many fun memories with her.

Patty Mashike

Yes I was very glad to hear she was still with us today. Now hopefully we can get in touch with her before it is too late to let her know about the reunion. I can hardly wait. Only 24 more days.

For those of you that are planning on coming, you have 5 days to get payment in. After the 7th no payments will be accepted and you will have to wait until the next one. So dont delay, put it in the mail today.

Yeah Shawn my daughter laughed at the pics too. How we used to dress and how big our hair used to be, etc. It's all good. I would go back in a heart beat. I loved it back then.

Patty, fashion always has a way of coming back. Bellbottoms came back and so did hip huggers. Just watch, big hair, tight minis and flats will be back in time for our kids to ask us for fashion advice! :)

Hey Shawn

Haven't seen or spoke to you in a while. Was wondering how you have been? How's your mom?

Yeah Suzana it is funny how things have a way of making it back even if it is 20 years later. LOL

Patty thanks, when I first read that I spent time crying because she is such a beautiful person. Now when I checked yesterday and discovered her name was missing off the deceased list, than I cried tears of joy.

Angela Norris whenever you read this know although you may be somewhere far from us, you are never far from our hearts or mine. Miss and love you.

Happy 4th of July everyone!
