Hey all -

I'm back from vacation (just to Tawas and Higgins Lake) but had a blast and am again nice and tan! Yeah! It's back to work and shcool tomorrow though, - yuck!

Anyway - regarding the Cider Mill, if you haven't been to Wiards Cider Mill, they have a GREAT haunted house also. It's not for kids though, as I remember. Actually, we went took Melvin one year and he had an asthma attack or something from the hay.

Anyway, I'm in Patty and I'll pay you on the 13th, and I am also bringing a friend. If anyone else from this side of town is going, we can car pool, although I do have to be back in town by 7 pm for another party.

I went to the Hamtramck Festival yesterday...not much there. The parade was small however my nephews enjoyed it.

I saw Kevin and John (Dropchuk), they both were working. Kevin was patrolling the streets and John was working at the Fire Fighters beer booth.

Let me just say this...one was nice and social, the other pretended he didn't remember high school. I will let all of you figure out who is who. (smile)

Happy Birthday Anita! Glad to hear you are even darker then me now. Rub it in. Some kids like the haunted house and some dont. It is a good one though. Hopefully we can get a bunch ofus. I know Mindy, Cheryl, Myself, Kim, and Anita along with their families are going. Hopefully we can get more of you.

Thank you Kim and Patty for the birthday wishes! Kim, I'm amazed that you knew that and you were almost the first well wisher of the day - I'm impressed. I had a text message from my friend David at 7:30 am, so he beat you.

I didn't return to town until later Sunday and thought about going to Hamtown on Monday, but was told by family that it would be a waste of time, so I did not. It's sad but true that I don't think it'll be around much longer.

Hey Miss Anita,

Happy belated b-day miss social butterfly. Now that you're all tan and relaxed it's time for you to get back to work. For as long as Davids been around I can't believe you to aren't married yet (ha ha). Wait, that might be why you two are still friends after all these years!!!!

As for the trip to the cider mill we have 15 people going so far so don't forget to mark it on your calender. Bring all the kids, it's a real nice place to hang out as a family.

On the home page if you scroll to the bottom, we now have listed upcoming birthdays and we also have a history portion that will change daily. I hope you enjoy these. Right now we are at about 16 people for the cider mill so the cost is right now 9.95 that you would need to send me. I would need to have it by 10-2-08 so I can purchase the tickets on the 3rd. Thanks.

As for Mindy and Kelli proof reading. My space bar sticks and I am not going back to retype so deal with it. :)

Thank you for all the birthday wishes everyone! And yes Don, we do get better with age. Just ask us, right?

Also, I just remembered, alot of us went to Wiards together way back when. I found the pics, but they're not dated. It was me, Queetie, Kel, Chrissy, Tammy, Wendy, Michelle, Patty, Terry, Terry's little brother (what's his name?), etc. Anyway, we were there.

Mindy - all I have to say about David is you are probably right.

Queetie - can you believe you live only five min. from me? You know that's not going away any time soon. I'll be waitin' on the next drive-by. Just make sure I'm not cutting my grass that day! It doesn't work so well in the dark ...

Hi Everyone!
Yes its been a while since I have been on. Been Busy!
My Grandma (94y/o) had surgery recently and has recovered well. :o) Being the Nurse in the family you bare all pressure to ensure all goes well.

When is the Cider Mill trip?

Time is getting near for me to head to Africa for a year. Maybe we can plan a little get together before the Army takes me away.
I start training Sept 8th. I will be here (in MI) till Sept 13th and then return on Oct 5th and then leave for good on Oct 13th. Hopefully we can work something out.

Kelli I have to see that video of you guys in the back of a pick up and us walking down Campau.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Attention Ladies!!!!

On Thursday, September 11th, at 8:30 pm my fiance's bar is having a ladies night with male exotic dancers. (I know it is short notice...I just found out myself.)

If anyone wishes to attend, please let me know I will be able to get you in free of charge. A few girls from my work will be there. Anyone over 18 is welcome.

The bar is in Southgate, just off of I-75 and Eureka road (right down the street from Gibralter Trade Center).

If anyone wants more details, please let me know.

Bernice the cider mill is on the 5th.

Anita, Terry's brother that went with us was Donnie. I thought Melvin went with us to but maybe that was a different one. Yeah we had a blast there. There is so much to do there and the kids will love it. I told CHeryl she can give you her money to give to me on the 13th if she wants. Right now we are in the 9.95 bracket. I would love for a bunch more people to go.

Kim I will let you know about the 11th. It sounds like fun. I just have to make sure of Kelseys schedule. This sounds like something we all need. :)

I will be face painting and sculpting balloons at the Paint Creek Cider Mill in Rochester every Sunday beginning September 14th! I will be there from 12pm to 5pm. Painting and balloons will be with a price. There will be a magician and other activities at the mill. Come by, have some fresh cider and donuts, enjoy bands, clowns and get your face painted and a balloon.
