Sandy,

The bar is named Gleason's...it is on Eureka at Allen Road.

I will be there at 8 pm...the event is suppose to start at 8:30. Just come to the door and say your with me and they will let you in free of charge. Please feel free to bring a friend or two...the more the merrier.

It is usually a really good time...however this time I think they have different dancers. The only downfall is waking up the next morning and having to go into work.

Hope to see you there.

I ran into Bernice at Cosi during lunch today. She will be in town until the end of the week and then she is leaving for a training trip. She will be back in town in a couple of weeks and would like to meet for dinner or drinks before she leaves for Africa for 1 year.

If anyone has any ideas for an send off dinner/party, please start posting them.

Class of '88!

I would like to post a link to a program I enrolled my classroom in last year. It allows you to give a donation to a classroom and 'adopt' it with your donation. I am in our Hamtramck Public School District as a second grade teacher and would like to extend an invitation to all of you to take a look at the profile and, if you would like to, adopt my class. If you have children, find your child's school and teacher and, if they have a profile, give to them. I still spend a lot out of my own pocket for the kids, but some things are just too big or cost too much for me to be able to purchase them on my own.

Thanks for your time!

Here is the link:

OK - I just spent 10 min. reading everything on here just to catch up. I don't think I've been on in a week. Alot goes on when you don't check in.

I think we deifnately think we all need to get together with Bernice before she leaves. A hero needs a great send off. It's still blows my mind that Bernice does that, and I applaud her (and Puj, and Willie, and all military personnel) for what they do for us. Especially on this day.

Kim - sorry I missed it. I'm sure you're checking out the mostly naked men right now, and I sure could use one! LOL

OK - I'll check in again soon...

Hey everyone. I think it's time to have a get togeather. I have been out of the loop for way to long. I actually miss the days of hanging out with some of the best people on earth. If I have to host a party I will. Let me know if anyone is up for this?

October 11th we will be getting together for Bernice. She will be deployed to Africa October 15th for at least a year. We will get together at my house sometime around 3:00 pm. You bring your own booze. If anyone wants to bring a dish you can. I thought we could order a few pizzas once everyone got there or if enough people bring dishes we may be good to go. Would love to see lots of you there and I am sure Bernice would too.
