HANOVER CHAPEL
Mr. Russell Ray Reed, age 58 of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on June 3, 1966 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of Russell W. Reed. He was raised in Jefferson County and graduated from Southwestern High School in 1984. He was inducted into the United States Marine Corps and served his country. He worked in sales and was a real estate developer, plus was employed in Oil Rights in Los Angeles, California. He held membership in the Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion and the Mt. Zion Community Church in Paynesville, Indiana.  Russell died on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 6:40 p.m. at the Norton King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana. 

A LOVING FAMILY 
Russell will be missed by his loving, devoted father and step mother, Russell W. and Martha Faye Reed of Madison, Indiana; his brother, Chad Reed and his wife, Christy of Mt. Washington, Kentucky; his sister, Kim Higdon and her husband, Greg of Chelsea, Indiana; his step brothers, Paul Petty and his wife, Trina of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Todd Petty and his wife, Brooke of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harley Reed and Nina Johnson Reed. 

MEMORIAL CEREMONY 
Memorial services are being planned at the Mt. Zion Community Church in  Paynesville, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Paynesville, Indiana
