 Mr. Douglas Lynn "Doug" Buxton, age 46, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on April 27, 1965 in Madison, Indiana. He was the son of Donald Buxton & Betty Tingle Messer. He was raised in Jefferson County and was a 1983 graduate of Southwestern High School. He was united in marriage on December 24, 1983 to Angela Weatherbee. He moved to Columbus and was employed with Granite Tool & Engineering in Columbus, Indiana for 18 years. He moved back to Madison and was employed with R & T Steel for the past two years as a tool & die maker and Machinist. He was a member of the Lick Branch Baptist Church near Deputy. Doug enjoyed cooking with his treasured Paula Deen Cookware, fishing, hunting and gardening. He was an avid fan of Bob Seger and Univeristy of North Carolina Tar Heels Basketball team. Doug died Monday, November 7, 2011 at 9:04 a.m. at 2302 North Thompson Road in Madison, Indiana. A LOVING FAMILY

Douglas will be missed by his loving wife: Angela "Angie" Weatherbee Buxton of Madison, Indiana;  his loving sons: Cody Buxton & his wife, Erika of Deputy, Indiana and Nathaniel  Buxton of Madison, Indiana; his loving step son: Jason Renschler & his wife, Kristie of Hanover, Indiana; his loving grandchildren: Braylon & Kaylee Renschler and Jackson Buxton; his loving father: Donald Buxton of Blocher, Indiana; his loving mother: Betty Tingle Messer & her husband, Gordon of Madison, Indiana;  his loving brothers:  Tim Buxton & his wife, Denise of Hanover, Indiana, Dave Buxton & his wife, Rhonda of Madison, Indiana, Jamie Messer & his wife, Alice of Madison, Indiana; his loving father in law & mother in law:  Larry & Barbara Weatherbee of Madison, Indiana; his brother in law:  Michael Stewart & his wife, Tina of Madison, Indiana; several nieces, nephews & other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Mabel Tingle.


 
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., by Rev. Frank Heil at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana . Interment will follow in the Lick Branch Cemetery, Deputy, Indiana.


 
VISITATION
Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 pm and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Doug L. Buxton Memorial Fund. Cards are available at the funeral home.
