Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of
Mr. Willard Danny "Hair Ball" Copeland

Mr. Willard Danny "Hair Ball" Copeland, age 56, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on July 29, 1964 in Gary, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Grover Cleveland, Sr. and Rachel Lou Burton Copeland. He graduated in 1984 from Carroll County High School and received an associate degree from Ivy Tech Community College. On October 29, 1988, he was united in marriage to Jeanette Marie Nevins in Switzerland County at the home of her parents. This happy union of 35 years was blessed with three children, Elliott Daniel, Chase Robert, and Opal Grace. He worked early in life for Gayle Club Construction and then for 25 years with Arvin Sango. Danny loved to watch NASCAR and was an avid fan of drivers Bill Elliott and Chase Elliott. He liked to sing, play video games, and collect die cast cars. Danny was a devoted husband, loving dad and brother. Danny died suddenly on Friday, September 18, 2020, at 1:40 a.m. at the Emergency Room at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY
Danny will be missed by his loving wife of 32 years, Jeanette Marie Nevins Copeland; his loving sons, Elliott Daniel Copeland of Madison, Indiana, Chase Robert Copeland of Madison, Indiana; his loving daughter, Opal Grace Copeland of Madison, Indiana; his loving brothers, Dicky Copeland and his wife, Rebekah of Madison, Indiana, Gail Copeland and his wife, Diane of Madison, Indiana, Darris Copeland and his wife, Christin of Richmond, Indiana; his loving sisters, Linda David Bailey and her husband, Mark of Vevay, Indiana, Gwen Miller and her husband, Tony of Madison, Indiana; his sister in law, Wanda Copeland of Madison, Indiana; his aunts and uncle, Brenda Brittain, Florene Spry, Jean Reed, Frances Robbins, and George Copeland; his father in law and mother in law, John Robert and Leona Marie Nevins of Clinton, Indiana; his brothers in law and sisters in law, Joe Nevins, Mary Ellen Jones (Randy), John Michael Nevins (Janet), Elizabeth J. Clark (Roger), and Monica J. Walker (Mike); several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Grover Cleveland Copeland, Sr., died October 17, 2008, his mother, Rachel Lou Burton Copeland, died August 15, 2012, his brother, Grover Cleveland "Hotrod" Copeland, Jr. died August 6, 2020, his sister in law, Jan Copeland, died August 8, 2011, his grandparents, Steve and Agnes Graham Copeland and Billy and Lena Mae Rowlett Burton,

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at 7:00 p.m., by his brother, Dicky Copeland at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Graveside services will be Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at the Grandview Memorial Gardens, 9306 North U.S. 421 in Madison, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may visit Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
