Kimberly Bitner (Craig)

Kimberly Ann Bitner, 54, of North Vernon, passed away at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2020, at her residence.

 

Born April 7, 1966, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of Elmer Bitner and Mary “Sue” Green; they survive.

 

Kimberly was a 1984 graduate of Southwestern High School and had attended I.U. Bloomington for criminal justice. She was the owner and operator of Caring for Peanuts Daycare in Hanover for thirteen years. Kimberly was a member of the Tea Creek Baptist Church, and she loved cats, watching movies, going on vacation, and visiting the beach.

 

She is survived by her children, Alyse Craig of Madison, Jordan (Elizabeth) Craig of Hanover, and Brennen (Sheby Auxier) Craig of Louisville, Kentucky; parents, Elmer (Linda) Bitner of Salem and Mary “Sue” Green of North Vernon; and sister, Debra (Scott) Snyder of Boynton Beach, Florida.

 

In keeping with the family’s wishes, a private graveside service is to be held. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services were entrusted to the care of these arrangements.

 

Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Kimberly to the Tea Creek Baptist Church.
