Went to Portugal as an exchange student for a year directly out of school. Entered Brigham Young University and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Served as a missionary for 1.5 years in Puerto Rico for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Worked for Westinghouse in Monroeville for 5 years then got laid off. Went back to school and earned a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and moved to New York to work for an Environmental Consulting firm. Worked for them for 5 years and got laid off. I now work for AH Environmental Consultants in Newport News, Virginia. This job has taken me all over the east coast and as far away as Cuba.
I have a cute house with room for a garden and trees. Summer jobs fighting forest fires in Utah gave me a real appreciation for the outdoors while at the university.
