After all that wild living the best thing in the world happened to me. After I watched my friends die in car wrecks I realized that I was not immortal. It is truly appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. When my son died in my arms I realized the true meaning of John 3:16. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. While I had three healthy sons at home, I would not give them for anyone but God loved me so that he would give his only son for me. Not just me but you also. I also learned John 1:12 but as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. I always believed in my head but not in my heart. There was a certain Rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. And there was a certain begar named Lazarus which was laid at his gate full of sores. And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the Rich mans table. Moreover, the dogs came and licked his sores, and it came to pass that the beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died and was buried; and in hell he lift up his eyes being in torments, ans seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said Father Abraham have mercy on me. And send Lazarus that he may did the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and thou are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass form hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house; For I have five brethern; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, if they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. Verily Verily I say unto thee except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. What is your life it is a vapor that appeareth for a little while then vanisheth away. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ Our Lord. That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Your heart is a door there is no door knob on the outside, only on the inside. God is knocking on that door, but he will not force the door of your heart open. You must turn that knob and open the door and let him in. The prayer that will open that door: Lord I know that I am a sinner, I don't want to die and go to hell. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and I ask Jesus to come into my heart and save me.
