Carol Elizabeth (Mattison) Cleaver, 57, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2004 at Pimlico Manor, Lexington, after a long illness.

She was born Oct. 31, 1946 in Louisville, KY, daughter of the late James R. and Julianne Cleaver. She was a 1964 graduate of Lafayette High School and obtained as Associate Degree in Nursing in 1966.

Carol enjoyed working in numerous hospitals in Central KY and most recently was in the traveling nurse program taking her to Hawaii, California, Texas, Florida and Montana.

Survivors include a sister and brother-law, Linda and Scott Gow; brother and sister-law, Paul and Carrie Cleaver; nephews, Kyle, Corey and Neal; and a niece, Julianne.

Carol appreciated all the Staff at Pimlico for her care for many months.
