Glenn Gordon Flynn II, 64, died Saturday December 18, 2010 at the Markey Cancer Center hospice unit in Lexington.

Born in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Dr. Glenn G. and Hazel Flynn.

Mr. Flynn was a graduate of Harrodsburg High School and Eastern Kentucky State University. He served in the USAF and recently retired from the Kentucky Dept. of Insurance Fraud Division.

Mr. Flynn is survived by his siblings, Jenny F. Darsie, Lexington, and Judy (Frank) Parente, Falls Church, VA, Janet (Mike) Pay, Pasadena, TX, and William L. Flynn, Cumming, GA; along with several nieces and nephews.

A private service for family and friends will be held in his memory at a later date. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504 or Markey Cancer Center, 800 Rose Street, Lexington, KY 40536.
