JOHN THOMAS SHEWMAKER
1946 ~ July 18, 1993

Mr. John Thomas Shewmaker, 47, of 145 Park Place died Sunday, July 18, at his residence.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Spring Hill Cemetery. The Revs. David Hartman and Tom Ebelen officiated.

John Thomas graduated from UK in 1968 and UK's Law School in 1971. He married Jane Cammack in 1968 and moved to Central City, Kentucky. While living there he was active in the First United Methodist Church. He had a private law practice before becoming County Attorney and a Law Judge for Worker's Compensation.

He had one son, John Thomas Shewmaker Jr. who now lives in Denver, Colorado with his wife Jennifer,and son Miles Thomas. They are expecting their second child in Sept. 2009.
