Linda Lou (Logue) McGee

June 26, 1946 ~ July 16, 2017 (age 71)

Linda Lou McGee, age 71, Lexington, wife of James Andrew "Jack" McGee III, died Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Cambridge Place in Lexington, KY.

She was born June 26, 1946 in Harrodsburg, KY.  She was the daughter of the late Arnold C. and Virginia Sue (Lagrone) Logue. Linda was a 1964 graduate of Harrodsburg High School and was founder of Educare Learning Center in Lexington, KY.  She enjoyed traveling, dancing, and sewing, and was proud to pass along her thoughts and wisdom to her family and the many children whose lives she touched. 

Other survivors besides her husband are James (Dawn) A. "Big Jim" McGee IV, Lexington, KY, Logan Ryan of San Antonio, Texas, Sherri Lewis of Harrodsburg, KY, Susan (Bentley) Lane of Harrodsburg, KY and Melissa "Missy" (Jim) Cinnamon-Hill of Lawrenceburg, KY, Michael (Sue) Logue of Lexington, KY and Nina Graham Logue of Burgin, KY. She is also survived by James A. McGee V and Nicholaus McGee of Lexington, Samantha MacFarlane of Richmond, Cameron James MacFarlane of Lexington and Ryan Swanson.

Linda was preceded in death by a son, Christopher McGee, a brother, Stephen Arnold Logue and a sister, Laticia Logue.

Funeral services were be conducted Saturday, July 22nd, at Sims Funeral Services with Reverend James Gilbert officiating. Burial followed in the Spring Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation was at Sims Funeral Services.

Pallbearers were: Bentley Lane, James McGee IV, Nicholaus McGee, Jim Allison and Joe McClellan.
