Thomas Allen Watts

March 11, 1946 - November 4, 2011

Thomas (Tommy) Watts, age 65, of Harrodsburg, husband of Lois (Lance) Watts, died Friday, November 4, 2011 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born March 11, 1946 in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late John Willis and Mary Frances Curtsinger Watts. He was a 1964 graduate of Harrodsburg High School, served in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam War, was retired from IBM and was formerly a stock manager of Kroger and Gateway, former board member of Central Kentucky Christian School, board member of the Faith Seekers Building Bridges and a member and deacon of the Harrodsburg Community Church.

Survivors other than his wife include: three daughters, Kim Royalty, Garrard County, Kelly (Damian) Laymon, Harrodsburg, Rebekah Watts and future son-in-law Matthew Medley, Harrodsburg, one brother, John Willis Watts, Jr., Lawrenceburg, two sisters, Edna Merriman, Harrodsburg and Barbara Robinson, Lawrenceburg, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Edward Watts.

Funeral services with military honors were conducted Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Harrodsburg Community Church by Senior Pastor, Terry Morrison, George Smith and Roc Moore. Burial was in the Springhill Cemetery. 

Honorary pallbearers were: Dr. Bacon Moore, Larry Kyle, Damian Laymon, Nick and Zack Laymon, Matthew Medley and Ricky Baker.
