WILLARD RUE YEAST
August 1, 1946 ~ April 1, 2002

Willard Rue Yeast, 55, of Longview Trail, died Monday, April 1, 2002 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

Born August 1, 1946 in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Claude and Juanita Morris Yeast.

He was a 1964 graduate of Harrodsburg High School, a graduate of Kentucky Business College and a U. S. Air Force veteran, having served in Vietnam.

He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and had competed in auto shows.

He had retired from IBM after 20 years and was a former employee of Hitachi.

Survivors include: his wife, Patricia Tackett Yeast; one son, Shannon Yeast; one daughter, Tanya (Aaron) Taylor; one sister, Claudia Dunning; one grandson, all of Harrodsburg.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. James Harley officiating.

Burial with military rites was held in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scott Moseley, Fred Brown, Bobby Grider, Brian Jackson, Aaron Butler and Ernie Kelty. Honorary bearers were nephews.
