David T. Collier, 72, of Harrodsburg, widower of Patricia Sallee Collier died Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born December 7, 1945 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late William Talmadge and Rachel Annelle Baker Collier.

David was the current Pastor of the Grace Baptist Church which he organized in 1973, a retired Computer System Analyst with IBM and a retired Purchasing Administrator and Inventory Analyst with Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was a Mercer County High School graduate and attended Lexington Bible College, Moody Bible Institute and Pace University of New York.  He enjoyed UK Athletics, Football, Preaching the Gospel and his Grand dogs, Porky and Sadie.

Survivors include two sons: David Wayne Collier and John Thomas Collier both of Harrodsburg, one sister: Sandy Sanders of Harrodsburg, one aunt:  Barbara Green and one uncle: Fonnie Baker of Harrodsburg. Several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by one sister: Vina Boyd.

Funeral services were conducted on July 6, 2018 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Kent Clark, Mark Williams and Bro. Paul Jackson officiating.

Burial was in the Spring Hill Cemetery. 

Visitation was held at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
