Virginia Pertillar

I have taken care of my parents. I have two beautiful children and one granddaughter (5 yrs. old) Traveled to Africa and Europe a few times. Finished my Degree in Psychology at University of Hartford. Still live in the same house I was raised in. Found My Lord and Savior in 1970. Experience some ups and downs, but I stand to say "all is well with my soul." I had some wonderful jobs, that has developed many of my God given gifts and talents, and I love to share my life with others.
I love to mountain climb, camp, hike, garden, cook, write, go to the beach, try new things (i.e., different foods, learn about other cultures), sing and think of how good God has been to me over the years.
And to think - God just keep on Blessing Me!!!

I left school each day while in the 10th grade to go work at the Hartford Insurance Group, I missed so much of school activities during this time. It helped me to mature faster and become independent sooner. I really did not have time to join clubs and stay after school for activities.

My guidance counselor at the time did not even think I was college material, so suggested I find a job or get married. Can you believe that! This was called "Guidance." I certainly have had many jobs and I never married!
