Linda Diane DeLawrence

Linda DeLawrence, 73, of Hartford, CT, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Friday, July 4, 2025. Born on December 22, 1951, Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and strength touched everyone she met.

She is survived by her two daughters, Nichole DeLawrence and Wendy DeLawrence; her beloved grandchildren, Destiny Jenkins and Darius Cicero; her cherished great-grandchildren, Liana Alvarado and Adonis Wilkinson; her sister, Cora DeLawrence Germany; her brother, David DeLawrence; and nephews: Christopher M. DeLawrence, Joe Germany, III, and Kory J. Germany.

She was predeceased by her sister, Nadine DeLawrence, and her parents, Ruth Atkins DeLawrence and Joseph J. DeLawrence, Jr.

Linda built a long and dedicated career in the retail industry before moving into the food industry. In 2019, she retired from CRT as a dietary kitchen aide. She was passionate about helping others and was known for her kindness and generosity.

Linda loved listening to music and treasured family gatherings, where her laughter and spirit brought everyone together. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her compassion, sense of humor, hard work, and unwavering love for her family.

Her legacy of love and care will live on in all who knew her.
