Sandy died January, 1968.  Judy Frey & I were in nursing school at Allentown Hospital when we received the sad news of the passing of our dear friend.  Always missed, a sweet girl.

Sandy was a very sweet, gentle girl.  She died so young.

I agree, Sandy was a sweet and gentle soul. Lost too young. Just as Joey Lannon.

Sandy and I grew up inseparable friends on the small cul-de-sac street bordering Hatboro and Horsham called Linda Lane.  We were Horsham Elementary School "graduates" along with many others from the H-H Class of "67".  We all share fond memories of the elementary school long since demolished.  I can remember the girls of 4th grade trying to get Mr. Taylor's autograph before being chased to class by Mr. Paralis and Mrs. Rush. We thought Mr. Taylor was "so handsome"..worth getting yelled at for!!

It was a wonderful time to be a kid..life was simple. We went from Horsham Elementary to Keith Valley Jr. High and then on to the big time--Hatboro Horsham High School.

Sandy and I remained friends all of our growing up years. I was waiting for her to stop at my house the night she died.  It's been 49 years and I still think of her often, I cherish the memories and still miss what might have been.

I remember you calling me to tell me about Sandy's death. Your memory is a testament to a dear friend long lost.
