Jennifer Johnson Pender, 37, of Hattiesburg, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2006, at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, La. She was the general manager of Hampton Inn in Hattiesburg and a member of Main Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Geoff Pender of Hattiesburg; mother, Nila Johnson of Minden, La.; father and stepmother, Richard and Joanna Johnson of Seminary, Miss.; and sister, Jill St. John of Hattiesburg.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, at Main Street United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg.
Memorials may be made to Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency, 12 River Bend Place, Jackson, MS 39232, or the Louisiana Organ Recovery Agency. Published in The Sun Herald on August 1, 2006

She had a heart transplant in May 2006. In July developed a staph infection. Her body just couldn't recover. Miss her!Pat Hogan
