August 10-12, 2012

 

Cost (all events):  $65.00/person and $130.00/couple*

Cost (one event + souvenir bag):**

  • Meet & Greet Only + souvenir bag + 1 Guest : $30.00
  • Family Picnic Only + souvenir bag + family: $30.00
  • Evening Gala Only + souvenir bag + 1 Guest: $60.00

Hotel Accommodations:  A block of rooms has been reserved at:

Microtel Inn and Suites, 105 Westover Drive, Hattiesburg, 39402, (601) 450-1592

Rate for Double Rooms: $70.00/night (free continental breakfast and 24-hour snacks in lobby).

Please make your hotel registrations by July 25th (rooms not reserved will be released after the 25th).

Meet & Greet (ADULTS ONLY): Friday, August 10th, 6-9 p.m.  Location: Bianchi's Pizzeria,128 East Front Street, Hattiesburg, MS 39401
(601) 450-1263 (Downtown Hattiesburg, across from Brownstone's and next door to Bennie's Boom Boom room).   Attire:  Casual, but cute! (Remember: We're planning a concert directly after the mixer!)

 

 Ol' Fashion BBQ/Family Fun Picnic: Saturday August 11th, 10 a.m-2 p.m., Relay Park Pavilion, 214 South Main St. Petal, MS 39465  (behind the Petal Civic Center). Just look for Balloons, Bubbles and Bouncy things!!!

Evening Gala (ADULTS ONLY):  Saturday, August 11th, 7-11 p.m., Canebrake Country Club, 1 Cane Drive, Hattiesburg, MS 39402, (601)270-2010. Music will be provided by SL100 DJ, Don King! 

80's Benefit Concert: (Tentative at this time): Friday, August 10th, 8:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Location: Saenger Theater; Guest Performers: TBD; Cost: Free to Class Members and Invited Guests.***

*Registrations made after July 13th will increase by $10.00 ($75.00/person and $140.00 per couple).

**Registrations made after July 13th for one event + souvenir bag will increase to $35.00/person, $70.00/couple for Gala.

***Each paid registration entitles Class Member to invite one guest to concert for free.

Directions: To Canebrake: From I-59 take Exit 65B (Hwy 98 West) toward Columbia. Go 7 miles and take a right on Hwy 589 at Bellevue Church. Proceed 1/2 mile on right.

From New Orleans: From I-59 North take Exit 51 (Hwy 589 toward Purvis). Go approx. 15 miles to Hwy 98. Cross over Hwy 98, proceed to entrance of Canebrake Country Club, 1/2 mile on right.(601)270-2010.

From Jackson: From US 49 South take 589 South. Proceed 11 miles Sumrall, then go 9 miles to Canebrake Country Club entrance on left.
