Leslie Zimei Hornosky

Since 1968 I have had a few marriages (presently very happy!!!)but continued to sing with several musical endeavors. For the last 32 yrs I've been recording and performing with "Cadillac Moon" (Blues Band) and "Cat Ballou" (jazz). My husband Ray and I own our own Ship Brokerage Business Things have changed a bit in the music scene and Cadillac Moon has long been disbanded and right now I am semi retired from the music business but recorded a CD in 2014 as a solo artist entitled “Black and White”. I was privileged to include some of New York’s finest musicians as part of this endeavor. Some tracks can be found on Spotify! One thing I’m happy to report is that I’m still in close contact with several of my high school besties. I feel blessed to have them in my life. Peace and love to all my Hauppauge classmates❤️

My favorite story: Nina G, Maxine Turns and I were in many classes together. Every day Nina brought in a different gag- I.e. fake vomit, fake melted ice cream, etc.- placed in on the floor and we'd go wild with laughter. One day we walked down the hall and saw a REAL melted ice cream in the trophy case. For some reason, we thought that was the funniest thing we'd ever seen in our lives. We lost it!!!! Other great memories will always include Gayle Messina, Phyllis Cutrone, Janice Simone, Dee Griffiths- quite a cast of characters.
