I graduated from Graham Hospital School of Nursing in Canton, Il in 1984 and worked at Methodist Medical Center for four years on the post cardiac surgical unit. I moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1988 and specialized in hemodialysis and apheresis. I was married in 1993 to an airline pilot and we had a beautiful daughter in 1996. Although, her father and I are no longer together, we remain friends and are raising our daughter together. Currently, I am the Team Leader for the Cellular Therapy Program at Mayo Clinic Arizona and Phoenix Children's Hospital. I lead a team of 15 RN's performing stem cell collections for bone marrow transplants on adults and children, as well as therapeutic apheresis procedures. I also continued my education and graduated from Regis University in Denver, CO with my BSN. I am currently working on my Masters degree in nursing education.
