Harry L. Hambridge Jr. ObituaryHarry L. Hambridge, 64 38 Year Resident of Drexel Hill Harry L. Hambridge, 64, , died November 21, 2010 at home. Born in Darby, PA and raised in Havertown, a graduate of Haverford HS, he was a resident of Drexel Hill for the past 38 years. Mr. Hambridge was a Maintenance Engineer for Emcor Global Corp for the past 7 years. He had previously worked in the Steamfitters Local 420 and for the UAW in the trucking industry. Mr. Hambridge had also worked for the Federated Dept Stores and had been assigned to Macy's and Bloomingdales. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He was known by family and friends as a prankster and avid Philadelphia sports fan. He enjoyed woodworking and could design and build any form of cabinetry. During his early working life, he had worked on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and in Australia; his military service took him to Europe and in later years he enjoyed revisiting the world through the travel channel. Survivors: include his wife of 42 years Deborah Loeb Hambridge; his sons Scott Hambridge of Glenolden, Chris Hambridge of Broomall, Jamie Hambridge of Drexel Hill and Matt Hambridge of Glenolden; his grandchildren Billy, Ally, Nik, Ricky, Jordan and Ryan; brother of Gail McGinley, Carol Hersker, Linda Cyckowski, Edith, Janice and James Hambridge
