Poor Ivan.  Smart, funny and and constant victim of bullying because of his name, his short stature and prominent schnozz. I remember some jerks kicking him in the nuts in 9th grade.  :-(

Ivan was not immune to his family's history of mental illiness; it took him two tries to do it, but he died a tragic suicide in 1972-73.  :-(
