Mrs. Donna M. Derr, 67, of Walkersville, MD   passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at John Hopkins Hospital.  She was the wife of John Derr. 

Born on May 3, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Cammy and Mary Quartiero Taraborrelli. 

Donna was a member of St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Walkersville.  She was an avid reader and also enjoyed needle arts, especially counted cross stitch.  Donna was a devout band and theater parent and very devoted to anything her daughters were involved in.   

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughters Stacy M. Miller and husband Chad of Catonsville and their son Riley Ethan Miller; Samantha M. Derr of San Antonio, TX and Kelli A. Derr of Kure Beach, NC; siblings Chris Taraborrelli, Susan Cienawa, John Taraborrelli and Mary Ellen Taraborrelli and nephew Adam M. Cienawa.
