Janet C. Whisner, age 56, of Dillsburg, passed away Friday at her home.
She was born March 25, 1948 in Bryn Mawr, PA, the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Aiken McIlmoyle.
Mrs. Whisner was the widow of Gerald R. Whisner.
She was employed as a trust assistant with Citizens Bank and was a member of Monaghan Presbyterian Church, Dillsburg.
Mrs. Whisner is survived by two daughters, Stephanie N. Whisner of Etters, PA and Lauren A. Whisner of Middle Village, NY; three brothers, David J. McIlmoyle of West Chester, PA, Edward A. McIlmoyle of Denver, PA, and William J. McIlmoyle of Landenberg, PA; six sisters, Margaret J. Resnick and Eleanor R. Weber, both of Long Neck, DE, Florence K. White of Mocksville, NC, Agnes R. Defeo of Egg Harbour, NJ, Joanne P. Hartman of Alburtis, PA and Deborah L. Donaghy of O'Fallon, MO.
Services will be held on Monday, July 19, 2004 at 2 p.m., in her church, 1185 Gettysburg Pike, Dillsburg, PA, with the Rev. Charles W. Best officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. A visitation will be held Monday from 12:30-2 p.m., at the church.
