John and I knew each other mostly socially and in some classes. He was one of the good guys. My condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

In memory ... John Woodward
Woody was a most valued friend. We met on the first day of junior high and connected through music and sports. John was a very smart guy, thoughtful, and observant with a sharp wit. He was tough too. He weathered more than his share of medical issues always with humor and without complaint. He was a perfect teammate, a poised athlete, and a fine musician. I was privileged to be his friend.
