PAUL OWEN SANDERS

Paul Owen Sanders, 75, of Harrisonville, Pa., and more recently of Williston, Fla., passed away on Feb. 5, 2022.

Paul was born Dec. 19, 1946, son of the late Claire (O’Neill) and Owen Bates Sanders.

Paul taught industrial arts for many years at Forbes Road School District in Fulton County, Pa. He was a citizen of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. He enjoyed motorcycling and was a member of the BMW MOA and attended many of their rallies. He bicycled and did multiple 100 mile “century rides” including one across the state of Iowa. Paul also enjoyed swimming and did the Chesapeake Bay Bridge swim several times as well as a swim from Alcatraz.

He was preceded in death by his son, Luke Owen Sanders, and is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna K. Sanders; by his daughter, Kimberly A. Sanders; son-in-law, Daniel H. Bergan; and three brothers: William J. Sanders, T. Scott Sanders and John B. Sanders.

There will not be any service and in lieu of flowers, please take a day of remembrance and do something you enjoy with the one you love.
