Robert C. Haderer (69) of Bechtelsville, Husband of Elizabeth J. (Narkiewicz) Haderer, passed away on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Havertown, PA he was a son of the late Gladys B. (Mandell) and Augustine C. Haderer. Robert was last employed as the HIPAA Privacy Coordinator at the Reading Hospital for over 20 years, retiring in 2009. Previously he worked as an IT Professional for Shared Medical Systems for 15 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, Science Fiction stories, driving his yellow Miata, wood carving, walking on the beach in Ocean City, NJ and playing with his beloved cat “Miss Kitty”. Robert is survived by his son, Robert, husband of Rachel C, Haderer of Gilbertsville. A brother, William, husband of Susan Haderer of Beverly Hills, FL. Along with his nieces, Sharon, wife of Chris West and Joanne, wife of Daniel Mueller. Memorial Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home 111 North Reading Ave. Boyertown on Saturday November 24, 2018 at 3:00 PM. Family and friends may arrive Saturday at the the funeral home from 2:00 to 3:00 PM and are invited to a Celebration of Life gathering held after the service at the Spring Valley Village Community Center.
