Clifford Pierce Cano

August 23, 1948 – November 11, 2019 (age 71)

Clifford “Kip” P. Cano passed away peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2019 “Veteran’s Day” in West Chester surrounded by his family.

Born on August 23, 1948 in Upper Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Warren Joseph Cano and Dorothy Ann Nugent (Ammon).

Cliff graduated from Haverford High School.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War.  Following his service in the Army, Cliff had a life-long career owning his own construction company and recently retiring as a project manager in home remodeling.

Cliff loved playing golf, watching the Phillies and his weekly card game with friends.  He was involved with many Veteran service events, and enjoyed spending quality time with his family.

Cliff is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 49 years, Jeanne Cano (McAleer), and two supportive children: Ed Cano and Terri Washco (Daniel). He was Pop Pop to four incredible grandchildren: Megan, Phillip, Jillian and Ainsley. Also, survived by his brother Warren Cano (Susan) and his sister Donna Brieck.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Monday, November 18, 2019 from 9am -10:45 am at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church St. West Chester, PA 19380; 610-696-1181; www.DellaFH.com ; Followed by his Funeral Service at 11am.

Interment will be held at Birmingham Lafayette Cemetery, West Chester.
