Well-----you all should know about the years building up to our 20th reunion-- I was married to Don Sheneman,(who died in 2005) and had Sheree and Scott. Having the kids was the most important thing that happened during those years.
In case any of you don't know, at our 20th reunion, Tim Fortune and I hooked up. It was a whirl-wind romance and 4 months after our reunion, we were married and I pulled up stakes in Chadron and moved to York, Pennsylvania where Tim was working. Scott moved with us and started highshool there, Sheree moved with a friend and found an apartment, got a job and eventually met her future husband there. I got a job working in Home Medical Care as a Respiratory Therapist.
Four years later, Scott graduated High School and ultimately joined the Army for a 6 year stint. Sheree married Troy Wilt, who was an officer in the Army, moved to Germany for several years, had Jordyn--our amazing granddaughter who is now starting high-school. They have since had Jared and are now living in Manhattan, Kansas where Troy is a career officer in the Army. Tim and I lived in Richmond, VA for 4 more years, then ultimately moved to the greater Washington DC area where we still reside on a 20+ acre mountain home everlooking the DC valley. Tim is now(as always) working in Human Resources as VP for AOPA-Airline Operators and Pilot Association. One of his perks is that he is able to take flying lessons.
I have worked in Home Medical Equipment Services for the past 20+ years and own Prince Willaim Home Medical in Manassas, VA where I still work as President, Owner and Respiratory Therapist. Scott joined our staff a year ago and has been a huge asset to our company. He will probably eventually take over when I decide to retire.(Not that I am old enough to retire!!)
Anyway--20 years ago Tim promised me an exciting, rewarding life--and he has lived up to his promise.
We would love to have any of you come to DC to visit. We would be happy to provide a place for you to stay and show you around if you like.
