Started as a Home Economics teacher and ended as a Culinary Arts Instructor.

I am a world traveler always open to last minute adventures. Since retiring 15 years ago I have enjoyed quilting (I belong to a quilt guild and attend several retreats and quilt shows) reading and attending book clubs, card making, and meeting friends for lunch.

I was able to spend time in Saudi Arabia visiting my folks after Desert Storm. On the way home I went to Egypt for a week by myself visiting the Pyramids, and other historical sites.
I took students to Europe several times to introduce them to new cuisines and cultures.
One of my favorite trips was to Israel with my God-daughter before Covid hit.
I have been blessed to visit many countries and will continue as long as I am able.

Visit Turkey, Greece and Sweden.

I enjoy touring countries less traveled in Europe. I have visited 5 European Christmas Markets and hope to attend many more. I enjoy group travel and revisiting my favorites countries. I like small river boat cruises and small land tours. In October I will travel to Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, and Poland. They have been on my bucket list for some time.

As a retired Culinary Arts teacher, I try to check out grocery stores, local food markets and off the beaten path restaurants.
