After graduating fron NHS, I went off to RCC and got an Associate Degree in Early Elementary Education and Instructional Aide. After doing my student teaching, I decided to go nursing school to fulfill a life long dream of being a "School Nurse". Over the next few years I worked in different hospitals and Nursing homes, along with doing substitute teaching in the local school systems. In the Summer of 1990, I finally was able to fulfill my dream to be a School Nurse. I have worked at a private boarding school near Charlottesville, Va for children with learning disabilities for 21 years. It has been very rewarding to fulfill this dream and serve my Lord and Savior each and every day.
