• Newly elected Student Body President Gary Wilson announces the assassination of President John F. Kennedy to HHS Student Body over the PA system.
• Senior Sledding Team is denied team sweatshirts as it is not a school sanctioned sport.
• Gary Wilson hides in Miss Ramey’s teacher locker and harasses the girls as they walk by the Patio. Miss Ramey catches Gary in her locker.
• Kraig Kushar is Not caught as he rides his motorcycle through the halls of HHS.
• Mikal Morgan discovers that her car is improperly parked in the school parking lot as senior boys lift her Volkswagon and turn it sideways.
• Mike Ryan becomes the first Student Body Officer to have to take a first semester Senior English correspondence course to graduate. Receives a B+ second semester (thanks Mrs. Flanagan for the life lesson).
• Junior/Senior Fight on Cap Hill, Not so good for Senior boys, Ouch!!
• Senior girl’s office staff very helpful in supplying ‘Blank’ report cards to show to parents.
• Unknown boys take janitor ‘Robin Hood’s’ keys and lock him in the ‘Patio’.
• Lloyd Ek wins State Wrestling Title, later becomes ‘National Wresting Champion’ in college.
• Senior girls file a complaint that Coach Vaessen’s American History class lectures are mostly about football not history. Turns out many Senior Football players are in the class.
• Earl Hansen, Quarter Back for the Bengals Football team – stars at MSU as a linebacker and tries out for the Dallas Cowboys after graduation.
• Assistant Principal Howard Voiles catches senior girls at Senior Beach while waiting for the boys to show up on skip day.
