Peggy Williams Andrews

Upon granduation for HS I attended Cal Western in San Diego for one year then transferred to University of California at Riverside. I graduated in 1968. I married John in 1969. John and I moved in Hemet for two years before moving to Orange County, Ca. where John started to work for O.C. Probation. I worked as a nursery school teacher for 5 years while our daughter was small. I then joined the County as a Social Worker for 5 years. I became a Probation Officer in 1984. My husband has been a Probation Officer for 32 years. We both retired in 2003 and moved to Sun Lakes Country Club in 2004. It is a Del Webb gated community of 3200 homes. We spend our time traveling in our RV, cruising, visiting with our grandchildren, volunteering in the our community, art lessons and other activies in our community. I am looking forward to our next reunion.

My family moved to Hemet in late 1946. I have attended Hemet Schools all my life, except one year I spent as an exchange student in Yugoslavia in 1961.
I remember all the fun days we had at school, like Rube day, Pep rallies, and all the Senior grad activities.
I remember as my favorite teachers Mrs Bissell-Truax, Mr. Steinback, Mr. Burgard, Mr Taylor and of course Mr. Simon who gave me a an A+ in Civics
