David Nicolet was born August 26, 1947 and passed October 20, 2018. He spent his younger years in Idyllwild but spent his later childhood in Yucaipa, and excelled at football.  He came to Hemet High for a year or two and made many friends.  He attended several of our class reunions. He joined the Army and at 19 he was shipped to Viet Nam in the 1st Calvary. When he returned, he enrolled at RCC and played football.

He had 2 daughters with his first wife and lived in Yucaipa. Later he moved to Palm Springs and started Tri-Valley Bobcat which he ran for 34 years. He met his beloved Georgia and they were married for 35 years. They purchased a ranch near Morongo and raised and trained horses. He became very active in San Bernardino County Search and Rescue and helped rescue hundreds of people.

Dave had cancer from Agent Orange and also lung cancer. Dave was considered a member of our Class of 1965 and we will miss him.

Who could forget that adorable smile, which was still there when he and Georgia attended our 45th reunion - hope I have that right. We dated for a short time in high school. He was a sweet boy and a very kind man. We will miss you David. RIP
