I've lived and worked in Riverside, County most of my life. I left after graduation because that is what we did! Attended Orange Coast College, Mt. San Jacinto College, Santa Barbara City College, College of the Desert. Finally got an Associate of Science Degree from M.S.J.C.,four year Survey Apprenticeship Program by the State of California. Southern California Surveyors and Civil Engineers. I was Certified by the State as a Party Chief. I did land surveying for over 30 years. I was principal surveyor on many projects including Menifee Lakes CC, and Rancho San Jacinto, surveyed the building of many Country Clubs in the Palm Springs area, including parts of the "PGA west" as well as infrastructure and land developement from farm fields to finished housing projects. I also spent 2-years working for Uncle Sam "fighting the Commies in Viet Nam." Every time a recession hit I would go exploring somewhere. Spent a lot of time in Idyllwild and the foothills around Hemet and Sage Etc. and distant locations!!!
The rivalry between Hemet and San Jac especially with football, "rings a Bell".
