I live in Denver, Colorado and work doing two things. I manage online ad campaigns for money at a firm in lower downtown, and I am president of BikeDenver, a bicycle advocacy group for no money, but lots of love. I am also in the last quarter of my graduate program and as of June will be a "Master of Public Policy".

I'll stick around Denver for the summer to see through a bikeshare project for the DNC Convention which will be here in August, but after that I will likely move to D.C. to take the "long distance" prefix out of my relationship with my college sweetheart, Karen Beach (also an MPP).

Since GVHS, I became an accomplished skin diver while living in Los Angeles. I did two LA Marathons, then started racing triathlons, which led me to openwater swim racing and bike racing.

I used to wear a cape and lead "the Wave" at pep rallies as Waveman. It turns out it was a pretty accurate description of my skills as I later got really into body surfing and was a beach lifeguard for a number of summers.

I also recall with fondness our senior year homecoming float, which got rained on and the roof collapsed. The sophomores were a bunch of overachievers that year and had some elaborate float that made ours look sad. I think we had more fun as a class though, we had Elvis costumes and stupid stuff going on on ours.
