I went into the U.S. Army for a couple years in Military Intelligence as a Spanish Linguist. Became a Medical Assistant in Las Vegas, NV, for about 9 years. Moved to Arkansas and got a BS in Medical Technology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Was working in a Cytogenetics Lab when I met the love of my life (Neil), got diagnosed and treated for breast cancer, and then married Neil (a football/baseball coach) once my hair grew back out. Together we have 4 boys and considering our luck for that little girl...I know, call me crazy! Today I am still cancer free, loving being a stay-at-home mom, and just enjoying life overall!

Update 8/31/15:
We never got that baby girl since my cancer reoccurred in 2013. I continue to fight it daily. I now have twin granddaughters, Ava and Sadie,who are my world! I got back to the workforce in 2011, and continue to work for the same company remotely, from home, which I love.

There are so many memories it is hard to choose just one. Football games, twirling for the HERD, bus trips with the band, basketball (and the red dot club), parties at Paetzold's barn, and how could anyone forget Mr. Perkins' corny jokes...EUREKA!!
