Julie Garcia Martinez

Went to Texas Woman's University for 2 years and then transferred to UT-Arlington (Go Mavericks!) and graduated in '93. Worked in advertising and marketing for several years. Then finally realized what I wanted to do when I grew up and was to work in radio. I've was in radio for the last 11 years and I love it.

I guess some of best memories for me: Drill team, speech club trips to San Antonio & Corpus with Josi, Judy and Betsy. Mr. Burger runs with Josi and for some reason Allsups.

In 2002, my sisters and I participated in the Avon 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk. We walked 60 miles in 3 days from Kenosha, WI to Chicago, IL.

2014- ran my first half-marathon.

Blessed to have met so many because of my previous jobs in radio and entertainment - No Doubt, Rick Springfield, Troy Aikman, Steve Nash, Mark Cuban, Lenny Kravitz, Dwight Yoakam, and Don Henley to name a few.
