Hard to believe it has been 20 years. I don't really feel that old and my wife would tell you that I don't act that old. I've been in Austin for almost 13 years now. I help manage the retirement funds for the State of Texas. I'm sure that this sounds like a boring job to most of you, but it is actually very rewarding as I get the chance to meet very interesting people and travel to interesting places in the hopes of finding investment opportunities for the fund. I have gotten married since the 10 year reunion. My wife is an elementary school principal in Austin. Not only is she beautiful, but she's pretty darn smart too. Probaly not as smart as Bobby and Carla Backus' daughter though.
