Even after all these years, this is heartbreaking. Reckon we're all getting closer. So sorry for her family. RIP.

Made a dumb decision in 1965, very dumb. Decided to climb the lighthouse. Bud Hulka, Jim Powell, Gary Benson, and Roger Browning went to the cape and with fingers and toes climbed up the broken bricks to the top and went in the broken window to the lens room. Enjoyed the view and looked at the burned out staircase . Looking down the wall from the top that we had to get toes and fingers attached to was a huge freak out but we all made it down somehow. Weird enough I later went to the hospital to visit an uncle. A boy was in there who had tried to do the same climb. He was totally jacked up. I can’t believe we did it. Anybody else do something this dumb? ??

In such a big school you had a a select group of friends and those you knew. I see here folks I knew offering their condolences. Memories. I always thought Pat was beautiful and I had a crush on her.??. My heart is breaking. We're there folks. Glad I still have God and my music. ??

Gerry and I lived in the same neighborhood from a very young age. Been close friends ever since. Went on some trips together mostly to Colorado. Rocky Mountain high! He and his parents were very nice people. No kids so Adel must be very lonely now. Like my Dad said, getting old isn't for wimps.
